...one of your chefs...came out to the table and spoke with me about making me a vegetarian entree.  He made me a curry pasta dish with mushrooms and vegetables that was out of this world!  It was one of the greatest meals I have ever had. -Cindy

My husband and I dined at your restaurant last evening after not being at the Brick Tavern for the past 20 years.   It was wonderful.  The food was terrific...the service was great.   Thank you. -Karen

History of the Brick Tavern

The Brick Tavern was built in 1818 by Henry Shelley. Shelley was a descendant of one of the earliest groups of Mennonites to settle in the township. The Brick Tavern Inn was located on one of the main stagecoach routes between Allentown and Philadelphia. The bricks for the tavern are said to have been fired on the site.  Red clay for bricks and for pottery, such as redware, is abundant in this area of Pennsylvania. *source: Milford Township Historical and Preservation Society
